Combat Ops Entertainment-Indy sits on the south side of Indianapolis, just off I-65 at the Southport Road exit. The 25,000-square-foot facility is the only venue in the city that combines mission-based laser tag, a dark ride theater, Nerf-style tag, axe throwing, mini golf, an arcade, a laser maze, free-roam virtual reality, and dodgeball under one roof. Walk-ins are welcome any day of the week, and guests can choose from objective-based laser missions, foam dart battles, axe throwing on six targets with a private lounge, a nuclear-themed mini golf course, and a multi-sensory 3D dark ride. The arcade runs on a reloadable card system with credits that never expire.
Three private party rooms with dedicated captains are available for birthdays and celebrations, and corporate events can host up to 300 guests with customized team-building packages, private meeting space, and catering. The Caliber Café serves pizza, craft beer, wine slushies, and more. The facility also offers free-roam virtual reality, a laser maze, Flash Pads foot games, and dodgeball, making it a one-stop destination for groups of all ages and competitive spirits.

Nerf is a popular indoor activity in the state of Indiana, and that doesn’t just mean playing inside. Indiana has become one of the top states for Nerf activity, with events and tournaments held throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding Indy area. Whether you’re an enthusiastic fan or brand-new to the sport, there’s plenty of Nerf action for everyone to enjoy.
Nerf is the biggest participatory sport in Indianapolis, and there is something for everyone. Hosted events are held in many of the most popular hotspots, such as Dave & Buster’s, Spare Time Entertainment, G6 Airpark, and even the local movie theaters. These events can range from members of the Nerf community gathering together to discuss tactics, share tips, and of course, host a Nerf battle. Some of the more popular events, such as the monthly Nerf Lockdown at G6 Airpark, even feature a tournament and opportunities to win prizes.
Local Nerf and blaster shops such as Nerf Zone in Greenwood specialize in selling magazines, blasters, and refill packages, as well as holding weekly special events where players can try out new blasters before committing to buying them. Moreover, many big box stores like Walmart have Nerf aisle sections that feature special Nerf products like limited-edition blasters or the latest models of blasters.
The Indy Nerf community is also committed to charity work, with local members participating in fundraising events hosted by charity organizations. Most recently, members of the community have contributed to the annual Pony Up Little League and to bigger events like the Indianapolis 500 Kids Walk.
