Paintball is a competitive game in which players use air-powered markers (commonly referred to as paintball guns) to shoot gelatin capsules filled with water-soluble dye, known as paintballs. When a player is hit by a paintball, they are eliminated from the game unless the impact occurs in a protected area like the legs or back, depending on the rules in effect. The objective varies by game type—ranging from territorial control to eliminating opponents—but the core focus remains on tactical engagement.
